Dalit and tribal villagers welcome women's caravan
Caravan-3, May 21: Rewa, Madhya Pradesh: Dalit and tribal men and women at the village of Sarda in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, welcomed the women's caravan in their village today. Rewanchal Dalit Sewa Sansthan, a local organisation from Rewa, hosted the caravan members and organised the interaction with the villagers.
The caravan members had a long interaction with the villagers. The women in the village were glad to know about the Bill. They also shared with members of the caravan the economic hardships, discrimination at the hands of upper caste villagers as well as endless domestic violence. The discussion on the Women's Reservation Bill instilled hope among the villagers.
The caravan's next halt is Daltanganj in the state of Jharkhand.

the Dalit caravan must go to all villages of India. so that poor and uneducated person of dalit and tribal people could learn more about themselves.
